
BMC offers year-round professional tax and tax planning services for a diverse individual and business clientele. Our tax department staff are highly experienced and licensed tax practitioners with accounting and business management backgrounds.
At BMC we are fully committed to making sure that you don't pay a penny more in tax than you legally have to. Unlike some tax practitioners, , not the Government. During income tax audits and collection actions, we will vigorously represent you and defend your rights as taxpayers
- Preparation of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates and trusts
- Representation of taxpayers under audit or examination by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), California Franchise Tax Board (FTB) or Board of Equalization (sales tax audits)
- Representation of taxpayers before the Collection Division of the IRS (or FTB) regarding tax liens, levies, wage garnishments, property seizures and other collection actions. Negotiation of payment plans and offers in compromise on your behalf
- Analysis, research and structuring of complex business or tax related transactions such as: tax free property exchange (Sec. 1031); sale/purchase of a business; installment sale; casualty loss and bankruptcy tax strategies.
- Liquidation (dissolution) of California corporations and partnerships.
- Individual and business tax planning and research, including detailed income tax liability projectioins;executive tax planning and consultation
In general, appointments are taken Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. After hour appointments may be available through special arrangements with your tax professional. Clients who find it inconvenient to come to our office for a tax appointment, may mail or messenger all necessary tax information and documents to us. We would then contact you if we have any questions or need further information. which you could them phone, email or fax to us. We strongly encourage an in-office appointment for new clients or those with complex returns, however.
